How it works

How PsiPi's AI pipeline works

Everything below runs live in your browser, using your own Gemini API key. On submission, your manuscript is first triaged by an AI editor persona (informational only — review always proceeds regardless), then evaluated in parallel by three AI reviewers, each with a distinct expert perspective, and finally synthesized by the AI editor persona into a decision.

Reviewer 1

Experimental data quality, technical rigor, controls, sample size and statistical treatment. Sceptical of claims the data cannot support.

Reviewer 2

Novelty, significance and correctness against the literature — and whether the paper's hypotheses and mechanisms are consistent with both its own data and the established consensus of the field.

Reviewer 3

Transparency, sufficiency of methods for independent reproduction, data and materials availability, and honest disclosure of limitations.

Decision

The editor persona weighs the three reviews — including any disagreement among them — and issues one of four verdicts: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject, plus a synthesized list of revision requests. Your decision letter reproduces every reviewer's comments and rubric answers in full, unabridged, ahead of that synthesis.

Every review and decision is machine-generated and labeled as such. See our legal & safety notes for what this does and does not mean.
